I'm not sure when it happened, but I've become one of those homeowners that changes their front door wreath with the seasons...or as the spirit moves me, whichever happens more frequently.
I love trolling Hobby Lobby (during 40% off picks and stems time, of course!) for *just* the right bits and pieces for my latest creation, and Pinterest in a constant source of wreath-y envy.
Here's one of my latest attempts...whatcha think?
I love how bright and spring-y it looks, and the pink really pops from the street!
I know a lot of people hot glue their pieces into the grapevine wreath as they go, but I prefer to just wedge them in there, so I can change something small, or remove things altogether to make way for the next wreath creation. It's all a matter of personal preference, I think.

And how sweet is that little bird's nest (faux, of course!) I added in, just for fun, using just a small wire to wire it to the wreath?
But just to shake things up, a few weeks after hanging the wreath above, I was getting itchy for a new wreath, so I created this one...
I found the wreath base - with the greenery attached! - on clearance at Hobby Lobby, so I added in the forsythia and the fun iridescent lemon yellow ribbon. Isn't it pretty? And talk about EASY!
I wonder what the next wreath will look like...

I love these! I'm so jealous of people who can put up wreaths; I have screen door so I can't without squishing it. The top one is my fave, love the pink and the bird's nest. :)
Awww...thanks, Melissa! I have a storm door so they get a bit squishy, but they bounce back! :-)
