As most of my readers know, when autumn finally arrives, the Priddis Pack gets itchy feet to go on a vacation, to escape to cooler temperatures and different scenery, to kick back and relax for a few weeks, and this year is no different.
Okay, it's a little different.
This year, instead of the sojourn "up north", we're packing up and heading out...in an RV.
Fievel Marissa Goes West!
We're renting an RV and hitting the road with my Dad and my dog to visit lots of National Parks out west. On the agenda....
Arches National Park, Monuments, Bryce Canyon, Great Salt Lake, the Tetons, Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands, with some visits to family friends and a lot of driving through Kansas to balance it out!
I can't wait. :-)
I think I'm more excited/terrified of the RV part than of the parks at this point, but I'm sure that will shift when we finally get close to the parks!
Zoe is already freaking out about the amount of stuff I have "staged" to take with us, and she knows something is up...but all will be forgiven when we hop up and hit the road!
Anyhoo, not sure how much connectivity will be had in the Wild West, but I hope to upload photos and updates to ye olde blog as much as I can!
In the meantime, happy autumn, friends!
