Come tour with me...
After 35 years, I *finally* got to see "behind the hedge" and tour the Miller Home in Columbus...(so amazing, by the way)...
(Photography is not allowed. I'm so a rulebreaker getting this shot.)

We had coke floats at Zarharako's, somewhere I haven't been since about sixth grade (long before the renovation happened)...

We visited Conner Prairie, a place every Hoosier elementary school student had been to except me, so it was time to check it out!

Best part...I got to pet the sheeps! ;-) (I love sheep. Seriously.)

Conner Prairie bonus: Shapiro's North was only 5.4 miles away...

We visited the Garfield Park Conservatory for their Tulip Festival...the colours, the scents, the setting...amazing!

We drove to Cincinnati to go to Jungle Jim's to stock up on "British bits"... and lots of other goodies, of course!

We visited Streamcliff Farms, a great family-owned herb farm, winery and lunchtime spot...

And a fabulous blackberry cobbler happened there...

We picnicked on the shores of Lake Monroe on Easter Sunday...

And then went for a beachy walk...

Some of us got wetter than others...

We celebrated National Library Week at the library with popcorn and punch, quizzes, giveaways, flowers, by celebrating our staff with recognition pins and lunch, and hosting National Bookmobile Day!

And Zoe and I took walks all weekend, both in Harmonie State Park...

And on the trail between USI and Burdette Park...

I'm exhausted from all this activity! Wake me when it's time to go again...

When was the last time you were a tourist in your own backyard?
