Springing Up Sunnymeade!

Now that spring has decidedly sprung in Southern Indiana, I've been itching to get Sunnymeade set to rights around the outside, be it mulching, weeding, buying plants, mowing and weedeating.

Enter Papa Priddis.

Dad has the greenest thumb of the family, so I *ahem* invited him down to help me spruce up the place with only the promise of a roasted chicken and a visit with the Granddog, and he took me up on it!

First, a cute picture of said Granddog with her Grandpa...

The hosta bed in the backyard received lots of weeding and fresh mulch...

Plus new ferns for the front porch and a new chaise for the back porch...

New Chaise!

Ta da! Sunnymeade looks BEE-YU-TI-FUL now, and I love coming home every day and seeing it all ready for spring!

Sunnymeade All Gussied Up!

(And yes, I'm composing this blog entry on the back porch, on the chaise, with the fountain burbling away and a Hav at my feet in 70 degree temperatures. Bliss.)
