Vacation Day Six: The One in "The Eagles"

Good morning!

Sunrise II

Don't see many sunrises like that from my back porch in Indiana - mist, waves and full-on beautiful colours as far as the eye can see!

After a leisurely morning, we saddled up and headed to "The Eagles" - Eagle Harbor and Eagle River.

We saw the Eagle Harbor lighthouse and admired the view from the overlook...

We swung by our annual stop, The Jampot, a small, monk-run business near a monastery that specializes in tasty baked goods and hundreds of jams and jellies...we stocked up, of course!

(and went back a few days later, even!)

And then we ventured onto Eagle River Beach, a wide, sandy beach, perfect for exhausting little Havanese puppies (and humans!) by exploring, playing and wading...

Can I, Mommy?

After that, it was back to the cabin for a cuppa tea, reading, and one more walk on the beach...I love this shot...Father, Daughter, Granddog...

Love This Shot

But I loved this moonrise view too...

G'night!
