You know why? Because I hate August. I have no motivation in August. I want nothing to do with August.
It's hot. It's yucky. It hates me. I hate it too.
Still, in the last couple of weeks, I have managed to get out and about at least a couple of times...so, what have I been up to?
Went up to Indy and checked out the traveling PostSecret exhibit at the Indy Museum of Modern Art - very cool.

During that same day, we went to the White River Gardens and visited the Indy Zoo, which I haven't seen since probably college...I mean, c'mon, who doesn't love a dolphin show or supercute cheetahs?

Sat on the porch and watched a sunrise - at 54 degrees! So happy!

I went and checked out the Vietnam Moving Wall - a special exhibit we had here in TinyTown over Labor Day weekend. It's a half size scale model of the real Vietnam Memorial Wall. Very cool to see it and have it all to myself on a Sunday morning...

And it's not a blog post without a cute picture of the puppy - hiking in Harmonie State Park...

MotoGP was a major August highlight, but that's another blog post....
