Sorry I was offline for a few days there, but I had a good excuse.
It was MotoGP time in Indy again, baby!
The second annual MotoGP race was held at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and we were there for every turn, every photo op, and every wreck.
What a spectacular weekend! Don (the bro in law) did all the arrangements again, and he, along with 26 of his closest friends, hit the track for a weekend of speed, kickass weather, and motorcycle geekdom!
So...what did we do?
The whole gang sat in Section 8 - of course. ;-)
Michelle and I nearly got run over by the Safety Car - and out emerged Nicky Hayden!
I modeled some fabulous rain gear during the showers on Friday...
We went out for a couple of GREAT meals in downtown Indy...
Saw a wheelie or two...
Wandered Meridian Street and the Circle for "Motorcycles on Meridian" on Saturday night...
And of course, saw some seriously rad racing...
We kicked it around the Circle in Indy...
Sadly, we waited in vain to see Randy de Puniet with his shirt off. Randy is a) French b) hot and c) frequently shirtless. We were sad. Here's his bike, at least:
Oh well, maybe next year. ;-)
We all had a spectacular time - I can't wait for next year!
